Design decisions
Let progress survive a break
Rewards and repeat rules are separate. Taking a break does not take away levels and currency already earned.
Preserve the original record
On-device SQLite is the default store. Keeping existing records through saves and transitions is a central product constraint.
Implementation & scope
Practice and reward rules are separate from the interface. Local storage and record recovery were developed alongside the experience.
