Personal records & privacy

Secret Body

Easy to compare.
Yours to keep.

A private photo journal for comparing changes from the same camera angle.

Product · UX/UI · Engineering · Operations

Photos and notes stay encrypted on the device, without an account or server.

The starting problem

Progress appears across many photos, but a camera roll makes matching dates and angles difficult. Personal images also call for a deliberate balance between useful comparison and private storage.

The experience

  1. Unlock the vault
  2. Record date and angle
  3. Compare matching views
  4. Lock when leaving

Design decisions

Compare matching angles

Records are organized by date and angle. Two matching records can sit side by side or alternate at a larger size while keeping their original proportions.

Keep the vault on the device

Photos, dates, angles, and notes are encrypted. The scope is a personal vault without accounts, servers, advertising, or analytics SDKs.

Explain lock and recovery limits

The vault locks when the app becomes inactive. The first-use flow explains that forgotten passwords and lost devices cannot be recovered.

Implementation & scope

Record and session rules are separate from platform security. Swift and Kotlin modules handle native security alongside local storage.
